Prof Wilson LU

Department of Real Estate and Construction, Faculty of Architecture, The University of Hong Kong

Prof. Wilson Lu is Professor in the Department of Real Estate and Construction, and Associate Dean (Research) of Faculty of Architecture, the University of Hong Kong (HKU). He is also the Director of iLab@hku, and the President of the Chinese Research Institute of Construction Management (CRIOCM). His research interests focus on Construction Management with two directions:

  • Construction informatics: Building Information Modelling (BIM), Smart construction, Big data, and Blockchain; and
  • Circular Construction: Construction waste management, Circular economy, and public policies.

Prof. Lu has been ranked as one of the Top 1% Scholar by Clarivate Analytics since 2017. He was the receiver of HKU Outstanding Young Researcher Award 2014-15, HKU Faculty Knowledge Exchange (KE) award 2018-19, and HKU Faculty Research Output Prize (ROP) award 2018-19.
